Inside The Children’s House: Building the 3D Environment (and a 3D Clip)

With the internal house downstairs room designed and laid out (see the concept designs here), the individual items were built in 3D using Autodesk Softimage. You may notice there are little, or no, straight edges to things as we wanted this house to be much loved and well worn.

As you can see, there are still items at this stage that are being refined and improved (jump to the bottom-most image to see a perfect example of this!)

As we have stated before, this is Slurpy Studios’ first CG production, so we still get very excited about seeing our 2D designs pop out in 3D!
